COVID-19 Update 3/25/20
Based on the new stay-at-home order we have modified our Coronavirus response.

-Effectively Immediately; all of our Thrift Stores are Closed until further notice
-The Meridian food pantry is closed until further notice. Clients are encouraged to visit our Overland food pantry.
-That food pantry has been deemed essential and will stay open as long as there are volunteers and food on the shelves.

We are not an organization with a large savings account or assets tied up for a rainy day. We always give what we have to the community. This pandemic has left us without many of our revenue streams and more requests for assistance than ever before. We are hemorrhaging cash and resources. We could close our doors, but the community needs us. So we need you. If you are in a stable financial position, please consider an emergency donation to St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho.

We are standing up for our neighbors in this crisis, will you stand with us?

Today, we had demand unlike anything we had ever seen before at our food pantries. When we opened our Overland location, cars were lined up three blocks down. Many individuals are facing unprecedented financial stress from the Coronavirus Pandemic.

We wont close our doors until the last can on the shelf is gone or we run out of funds. We are in this, together. If you're able to help us help others, please visit us online at www.svdpid.org to get involved in the fight to help our neighbors.
