Your participation directly supports our conferences and the neighbors they serve. Through direct assistance, our conferences help individuals and families facing difficult circumstances by providing support with rent, utilities, essential needs, and other financial assistance.

Participants can choose between:

• 1-Mile Walk – A shorter route perfect for all ages and abilities.

• 3-Mile Walk – A longer route through beautiful Julia Davis Park.

T-shirt's will be available day of at a first come first serve basis, so you can represent
the Friends of the Poor Walk while you walk!

Walk as a Team or Join Individually:

Build a Team:
Gather your friends, family, coworkers, church group, or community organization and create a team! Teams can be 2 people or as large as you’d like. One person can register as the Team Leader and invite others to join their team (see steps above).

Register Individually:
Prefer to sign up on your own? No problem! You can register as an individual and join a team later.
